Apple is hosting a conference and exhibition at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, L.A.
Steve Jobs is going to be kicking the expo off with his keynote on January 15, 2008. Here is what is rumored to be announced so far:
- An ultra portable laptop with the possibility of a mouse that functions the same as the touch interface on the iPhone. The DVD drive is rumored to be external.
- Will we see an update to the iPhone in the form of 3G? Highly doubtful, but this recent snapshot by AppleInsider of the Moscone Center gets me thinking:
- An update to the iPhone firmware that enables the user to move the icons around on the home screen to where ever he/she wishes to move them to. Plus various other updates to the iPhone kept highly secret.
- Updates to the other line of Apple laptops, Macbook and Macbook Pros. They may come in the form of processor updates to the new Intel 45nm processors.
- The already confirmed announcement from Microsoft of the new Office 2008 software which will be formally announced at the Expo.
